On Friday, February 5 and Friday, March 4, there will be a 4-H Camp Tweety fundraiser to help send youth to 4-H camp. Castillo’s Mexican Restaurant, on 5th Street in Mariposa, will be donating 10% of purchases from opening to closing back to Mariposa 4-H. Take your loved ones out to have a great dinner while helping your local 4-H program.

Camp Tweety will be held June 25-27, 2016 at a new location, Camp Oakhurst. This camp is for youth in 4th-8th grades or 9 years of age by December 31, 2015. Registrations are $150 for youth. The registration fee includes (2) nights lodging, (7) meals, materials and souvenir.

Registrations will be available at the UCCE Office or on-line at: cemariposa.ucanr.edu/4-H_Program/Camp_Tweety by first of February and due by May 27. We will take payment arrangements, but fee must be paid by May 27, 2016.

On Sunday, February 21, 2016 Mariposa County 4-H Council will be having their annual Pancake Breakfast at the Senior Center from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $8 per person for adults and $6 for seniors 62+ and children 12 & under. The menu consists of pancakes, sausage, eggs, and drinks.

Tickets are on sale now at the UCCE office at the Mariposa fairgrounds, 4-H members or purchase at the door.
