July 2, 2024 – Mariposa County Health & Human Services officials issue updated guidelines for the senior meal program in Coulterville.
We have received many questions regarding the newest updates to our North County Meal Program and we would like to clarify a few points. Please read this entire post.
All participants must do a one-time intake as of July 1st.
During the month of July intakes will be available from 9:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. at the North County office every Monday.
After August 1st intakes will be done every 1st and 3rd Mondays from 9:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.
Participants must be present to pick up vouchers and vouchers may be picked up Monday - Friday during business hours at the North County office located at 5026 Broadway Rd Coulterville, CA 95311.
Participants will be given 3 vouchers that must be used in the week they are dated for, EXAMPLE: vouchers picked up on July 1st will be valid from July 1st - July 7th. If receiving 2 weeks of vouchers, vouchers will be dated for July 1st - 7th and July 8th - 14th.
Meals must be eaten at the restaurant, there are many concerns about being able to provide meals to those who are homebound or cannot visit the restaurant and we very much sympathize with this; however, the North County Meal Program is meant to encourage socialization & reduce isolation for individuals who are able to leave their homes. The Mariposa County Senior Center does offer meals for homebound individuals through a separate program, please call 1-209-966-6632 to learn more.

7 Days a Week 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
▪️ The Copper Pot Cafe in Greeley Hill
6430 Greeley Hill Rd Suite A&B, Coulterville, CA 95311
Thursday – Sunday
8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
Program participants must be at least sixty (60) years of age, a resident of Mariposa County living within the North County areas and have completed an intake with HHSA
Visitors to Mariposa County are not eligible to participate; this senior nutrition program is for north county residents only.
