Through an extensive investigation, Manzano, a local resident, was identified as the suspect responsible for igniting a structure fire in the Banderilla Drive area of
La Grange, California with 6 residents still inside. All residents safely evacuated the residence with no injuries. Manzano was arrested on felony charges of arson of an occupied structure, PC 451(b) and attempted murder, PC 664/187 (a). For more information contact the Mariposa County District Attorney’s Office.
The arrest and comprehensive investigation were a collaborative effort between CAL FIRE Law Enforcement and Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office.
