Deputy Saves Man from Fentanyl Overdose
July 3, 2024 – Stanislaus County Sheriff's Office officials report that on May 9, 2024, deputies with Hughson Police Services responded to a call for service on East Whitmore Avenue where a man was seen walking in the middle of the roadway blocking traffic.
When Deputy Ramirez arrived on-scene, the man was located on private property in an orchard. He self-admitted to taking fentanyl.
Due to Deputy Ramirez’s quick action, the man was taken to a local hospital, where he received treatment and made a full recovery.
Fentanyl can be lethal. Remember the obvious dangers - one pill can kill.
