Coroner’s Office Seeks Relatives of Man Found at Fresno Intersection
July 12, 2024 – Fresno County Sheriff’s Office officials report that the Fresno County Sheriff – Coroner’s Office needs the public’s help locating relatives of 67-year-old Glenn Walter Long.
Around 3:45 p.m. on Monday, June 17, 2024, a passerby reported seeing a man on the ground near some bushes who appeared injured. Deputies arrived at the southwest corner of Herndon and Van Ness in Fresno and discovered a man deceased.
Glenn Long is described as 5'8", 160 lbs., bald, with hazel eyes and a mustache.
Staff at the Coroner’s Office have searched numerous personal records, but their attempts to find his relatives have been unsuccessful. Locating immediate family members is a necessary process in order for the Coroner’s Unit to release the body and allow the person to have a proper burial.
