January 26, 2016 - The Merced Police Department reports on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at 1:43 A.M., Officer Arias stopped a vehicle in the 1500 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Way for minor traffic violations.
While speaking with the driver, Martha Moss,19, officers learned a passenger had an outstanding arrest warrant and also observed open containers of alcoholic beverages.
Officers completed a further search of the vehicle and found a loaded .38 special revolver.
Angel Moreno,20, Marcelo Salazar,20, and Martha Moss were arrested for weapon violations and gang enhancements.
