MSF Child Safety Series Part 4: Firearm/Weapon Safety
July 18, 2024 – Mariposa Safe Families invites the community to please join their MSF Team on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 5:30 P.M. at Mariposa Safe Families (5070 Bullion Street) in Mariposa.
We invite you to join us for an evening of enhancing knowledge on firearm/weapon safety! As adults, we should all be aware that a child could discover a gun when a parent or another adult is not present. This could happen in the child's own home; the home of a neighbor, friend or relative; or in a public place such as a school or park. If this should happen, a child should know the rules and be taught to practice them!
We will go over talking to children about firearms and how to have those conversations, instilling the mindset of safety and responsibility when it comes to all weapons, review storage laws, safety and storage devices, methods of childproofing and much more!
