July 23, 2024 - The Madera County Sheriff's Office posted the following at 1:08 P.M. today.

EVACUATION ORDER

The Madera County Office of Emergency Services has issued a mandatory evacuation order for residents in Zones MAD- E1029 & MAD- E1035 in madera county sheriff logo 2024O’Neal’s due to wildfire.

There is an immediate threat to life. This is an evacuation order to leave NOW. The area is being closed to public access. Take action immediately. If you’re in need of evacuation assistance, call 9 1 1. An evacuation shelter is to be determined.

An Evacuation WARNING has been issued for Zone MAD-E1033.
