July 24, 2024 – On Friday, August 2, Music on the Green presents John Henry's Farm and on Saturday, August 3, Minor Birds.

John Henry's Farm is a folk/old-time blues duo from Palo Alto, California who will be making their debut at Music on the Green this year. John Henry has been actively performing and recording in California's Bay Area and beyond for well over a decade. He plays a resonator guitar and sings lead. He will be joined by prominent Bay Area upright bass player Ryan Triolo. Ryan plays with many of the Bay Area's hottest bluegrass bands and is one of the most sought-after upright bass players in the Bay area at this time. They perform a high energy mix of originals and covers.

Minor Birds, from Tuolumne county, will also be making their debut at Music on the Green. "A classically trained pianist and self-taught multi-instrumentalist, C. Wilde spins poetic tales with a voice oscillating between a silky coo and a guttural howl. At the core of her apocalyptic folk gems lies a heart of an emotionally receptive storyteller."

Minor Birds to perform on Saturday, August 3

All performances begin at 7:00 p.m. (unless otherwise noted) at the Mariposa County Art Park (5013 Hwy 140) in historic downtown Mariposa, CA. Parking is available along 4^th and 5^th St. The lower 5^th St. parking lot provides an accessible pedestrian path to the Art Park through the Mariposa Creek Parkway entry. Tips for the performers will be solicited, encouraged, and appreciated.
