July 25, 2024 – Merced County Sheriff’s Office officials report that the Coroner’s Bureau needs the public’s help locating the family of 80-year-old Rebecca Cathy Scott. The Coroner’s Office has searched numerous personal records, but their attempts to find her family have been unsuccessful.

It is crucial to locate the immediate family members so the Coroner’s Office can release the body and allow Rebecca to have a proper burial. If you or anyone you know has any information, please contact the Coroner’s Office at 209-385-7369
