July 28, 2024 – Mariposa County Health & Human Services officials announce that their Adult Protective Services Program (APS) has a team dedicated to promoting the health, safety, and dignity of adults aged 60 and older, and disabled adults aged 18 and older who are unable to care for their own needs.
Services are provided to victims of abuse, neglect or exploitation, including situations of self-neglect in which the older adult is unable to provide their own basic needs, and are available to any elder or dependent adult regardless of income 24-hours a day, 7-days a week.
Staff also provide information and referrals to other agencies, education to partners, and work to stabilize the lives of older and dependent adults in our community.
