“The latest allegations that Secretary Clinton’s emails include classified information lack the same key information as previous reports.
“First, the 22 emails the State Department has labeled classified are part of seven separate back-and-forth email chains, and none of those email chains originated with Secretary Clinton.
“It has never made sense to me that Secretary Clinton can be held responsible for email exchanges that originated with someone else.
“And second, none of the emails sent to Secretary Clinton have the mandatory markings that are required when classified information is transmitted.
“The only reason to hold Secretary Clinton responsible for emails that didn’t originate with her is for political points, and that’s what we’ve seen over the past several months.
“I expect the final emails in this voluntary disclosure process to be released by the end of next month, at which point I believe we’ll see that none of the information in question originated with Secretary Clinton or was marked classified.”

Priebus: “Hillary Clinton Has Removed All Doubt That She Cannot Be Trusted With The Presidency”
January 29, 2016 - WASHINGTON – Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus released the following statement after the State Department acknowledged the existence of 22 emails on Clinton’s server containing “Top Secret” information:
“With even more emails on her secret server found to contain 'Top Secret' information, Hillary Clinton has removed all doubt that she cannot be trusted with the
presidency,” said Chairman Priebus. “Hillary Clinton’s attempt to skirt government transparency laws by relying exclusively on an unsecure email server in her basement put our national security and diplomatic efforts at risk. And rather tell the American people the truth, Hillary Clinton, her campaign, and her friends in the Obama Administration have obfuscated and misled at every available opportunity. If this isn’t disqualifying I don’t know what is.“These revelations once again raise serious legal questions given the fact Hillary Clinton signed a legally binding agreement obligating her to protect classified material regardless of whether it was marked. Democrats will have to decide whether they really want to nominate a candidate who could face severe legal repercussions in the middle of the campaign and who has so brazenly violated the public trust with her reckless disregard for our national security.”
