July 30, 2024 - WASHINGTON – On Thursday, August 1, U.S. Agriculture Deputy Secretary Xochitl Torres Small will travel to California for events highlighting investments to support producers facing drought and water scarcity in the West.

In the morning, she will join U.S. Representative Jim Costa (CA-21) in Fresno, California.

Later in the afternoon, she will travel to Kings County, California to highlight investments that build on the Biden-Harris Administration’s efforts to create market opportunities for producers to drive innovation and production in the face of continued drought pressures.
