August 2, 2024 – Fresno Police Department officials report that on July 12, 2024, at 5:55 p.m., two suspects entered the DD’s Discount store located at 3675 West Shaw Avenue in Fresno. Suspect #2, wearing a red sweatshirt, entered the store and began concealing items in his clothing. Suspect #1 was contacted by security about bringing a backpack and skateboard into the store. Suspect #1 punched the security guard and struck him with the skateboard, leaving visible injuries. They fled the store together without paying for the items suspect #2 had taken.
