Brown's Executive Secretary Nancy McFadden, and Speaker of the Assembly Toni Atkins as recipients of the organization’s MOVER Awards: Making Our Vision of Equality a Reality.
Olsen said, “California Women Lead works hard to ensure that women have a place at the table and a deciding vote on California’s most pressing issues, and I am honored to be in a position to help champion their mission.”
Olsen is a committed and respected leader with a reputation for reform, problem-solving, and hard work. When she became Minority Leader in 2014, she became the first mother of school-aged children to have served as Leader of a Republican or Democratic caucus in the California Legislature.
