August 6, 2024 – Skull Country returns to Music on the Green on Friday, August 16 and Crooked Drone will be featured on Saturday, August 17.
Skull Country is a neo-western/Americana trio from Calaveras County Lead by multi instrumentalist guitarist and percussionist Nicholas Lefler. Their sound is a fusion of country western and Spanish guitar. Skull Country was a highlight of the 2023 Music on the Green season and we are excited to have them back.

Crooked Drone is a Roots Americana trio from Bootjack, California. The band is lead by prolific singer songwriter and multi award winning banjo player T-ranch, Andy Roberts. Master percussionist and vocalist, and one of the hardest working musicians in Mariposa County, Jon Kidd plays drums and sings. Mariposa transplant from West Virginia via Venice Beach, Brother JD rounds out the band on electric bass and vocals.

All performances begin at 7:00 p.m. (unless otherwise noted) at the Mariposa County Art Park (5013 Hwy 140) in historic downtown Mariposa, CA. Parking is available along 4th and 5th St. The lower 5th St. parking lot provides an accessible pedestrian path to the Art Park through the Mariposa Creek Parkway entry. Tips for the performers will be solicited, encouraged, and appreciated.
