Gang Suppression Arrest
August 11, 2024 – Kern County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on August 9, 2024, the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, Gang Suppression Unit, with the assistance of the Kern County District Attorney's Office, executed search warrants in the 2300 block of Gurley Street and the 8800 block of Forest Oak Avenue, both related to the sales of fentanyl in Bakersfield.
The investigation resulted in the seizure of over 20 pounds of fentanyl, three firearms, and approximately $12,000 in US currency. Servando Rodriguez, 31, was arrested and booked into the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, Lerdo Justice Facility, for the following charges: felon in possession of a firearm/ ammunition, possession of a controlled substance for sales and transportation, and maintaining a residence for the purpose of sales.
