August 11, 2024 – CAL FIRE officials advise the public to stay firesafe and to “protect your home with native plants.”

Did you know native plants can help reduce wildfire risk? They're adapted to our climate and use less water. Plus, they support local wildlife. Plant smart, plant native, but never within 5 feet of a structure! Together, we can help protect our communities.
