September 4, 2014 - Paul Edward Davis Jr., 21, of Mariposa was arrested on September 2, 2014 at 3:25 P.M. on Highway 140 east of Indian Gulch Road by the California Highway Patrol for Marijuana Plants Cultivation and Sales.

CHP Officer Fouch while checking on the welfare of a stopped vehicle driven by Mr. Davis noticed live Marijuana plants inside the vehicle and arrested Mr. Davis.

A search warrant was served at Mr. Davis's residence and 127 Marijuana plants and growing equipment were seized.

Bail for Mr. Davis was set at $60,000.
