Have You Seen This Missing Person? 

August 13, 2024 – Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office officials report that they are asking the public’s help in locating 41-TCSO missing Avilayear-old John Avila. John’s vehicle was located near the area of Cottonwood Road and Forest Road 2N07 on Saturday afternoon after leaving from the Modesto area sometime between Friday morning and Friday afternoon.

He was last seen wearing a white shirt, gray shorts and black adidas shoes. John is described as being 6’3” tall, and 260 pounds, bald with a brown/gray goatee and brown eyes.

Anyone who has seen John or knows of his whereabouts is urged to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 209-533-5815.
