August 19, 2024 – Mariposa Fire Safe Council officials report that they would like to encourage Mariposa homeowners to continue clearing your defensible space, 100' around an occupied residential structure.

We can help you!

Any homeowner who stacks their material as described on our web page, can receive free chipping of the vegetation.

If you qualify as low income (PGE CARE Program) or are disabled, we can provide the brushing as well.

This ONLY applies to the 100' defensible space requirement, and along your primary driveway.
