TCSO Detectives Investigating Goshen Murder 

August 25, 2024 – Tulare County Sheriff's Office officials report that just before 10:30 p.m. on August 23 (8/23/24), TCSO Deputies were called to the 30700 Block of Juniper Road in Goshen for a medical call.

The child who called 911 said there was a family disturbance, and his mother asked him to call.

When Deputies arrived, they found multiple children, ages 5, 13, 15, 17 in the house, along with a dead woman and a man with non-life threating injuries.

During the investigation, Detectives learned the man was in a verbal argument with the woman when she asked one of her children to call for help. The man, 33-year-old Alfonso Fuentes-Montes, was treated at a nearby hospital for his injuries and arrested for murder.

Child Welfare Services responded and placed the children with family.
