Trailer Thief Busted in Tulare 

August 31, 2024 – Tulare County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on August 29, 2024, TCSO Deputies were called to the area of Avenue 112 and Road 104 near Pixley for a report of a stolen ag fertilizer trailer. The fertilizer tank was found nearby, and the trailer was recovered at a vacant home on Cartmill Avenue in Tulare.

TCSO Ag Detectives took over the investigation and learned a red Dodge pickup was used to steal the trailer. Detectives identified 32-year-old Aldo Mejia of Tulare as the suspect.

During their investigation, Detectives tracked Mejia down in the red Dodge pickup in Tulare and pulled him over. He was arrested for stealing the trailer.
