September 15, 2024 – Fresno Police Department officials report that on Friday, August 16, 2024, at 9:16 p.m., Central officers responded to the area of Dakota Avenue and Crystal Avenue regarding a stabbing victim. The victim had just returned home and as he exited his vehicle, he was approached by an unknown suspect. The suspect was armed with a knife, and for an unknown reason, began assaulting the victim. After stabbing the victim several times, the suspect walked eastbound on Dakota Avenue.
