National Cold Case Month Investigation 

September 19, 2024 – Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office officials report that Mark Norman Dantche was last known to be in the area of Rail Road Flat in Calaveras County on the evening of May 30, 2015. He was 45 years old at the time of his disappearance and would be 55 years old today.

On the evening of his disappearance, Mark had reportedly intended to go fishing in the West Point Area.

Dantche was last known to be driving a blue 1996 Subaru with a yellow kayak on top. California license plate number 4YMF103.

Neither Dantche nor his vehicle have been seen since the date of his disappearance.
