Suspicious Death in Parlier Now Considered Homicide 

September 22, 2024 – Fresno County Sheriff's Office officials report that Homicide detectives are working to generate FCSO homicide Serranoleads into the death of 63-year-old Silvino Serrano (pictured.)

Around 6:30 a.m. Friday, September 20, 2024, someone living in a house along S. Zediker Ave., just south of Adams Ave. in Parlier, reported seeing an injured man lying in his yard. The Agents and Medical Services of emergency room arrived and determined he was dead. It was considered a suspicious death.

Homicide Detectives, our Crime Scene Unit and a Deputy Coroner responded to the scene and determined Silvino Serrano had injuries consistent with homicide. Serrano lived on this property.

Detectives need to speak to anyone who knew Silvino, recently saw him, or has information about what led to his death.
