One-Way Traffic Control for September 29 - October 5, 2024 

September 28, 2024 – MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control next week on State Route 49 (SR-49), SR-132, and SR-140 for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled as follows:

STATE ROUTE 49

  • One-way traffic control at the Fairgrounds Road Entrance for utility work beginning Monday, September 23, through Friday, September 27, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

STATE ROUTE 132

  • One-way traffic control from Hidalgo Street to the Mariposa/Tuolumne County line for utility work on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

STATE ROUTE 140

  • One-way traffic control from Whitlock Road to the Yosemite National Park for pavement repair work beginning Monday, September 30, through Friday, October 4, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
  • One-way traffic control from beginning of the passing lane in Catheys Valley to State Route 49 North for pavement work beginning Sunday, September 29, through Monday, September 30, from 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and Tuesday, October 1, through Friday, September 4, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials and construction related issues.
