September 29, 2024 – Turlock Police Department officials report that on September 24th, shortly after 1:00 A.M., Officer Nunez conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a broken headlight and expired registration. The driver, identified as 34-year-old Robert Campbell from Antioch, was contacted. Campbell stated that the vehicle was not his and that he was driving it back to the Bay Area for a relative.
During a consent search, Officer Nunez discovered an unregistered, loaded Glock 30 and a high-capacity magazine in the vehicle. Additionally, Campbell was found to be in possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia. He was subsequently booked at the Stanislaus County Safety Center on multiple firearm and narcotic charges.
