October 2, 2024 – Fresno County Sheriff's Office officials report that they would like to make residents aware of a pack of aggressive dogs who remain on the loose. This impacts people living along Tollhouse Rd., between Burrough Mountain Rd. and Shaver Springs Rd. (Auberry area)
Members of Fresno Humane Animal Services (FHAS) responded to the area on Tuesday for a report of eight Pitbull-mix dogs roaming around. FHAS was able to capture two dogs, however, six others ran away and down a ravine toward Forest Service land. They are described as being 40-60 lbs., black and brown in color.
We encourage you to remain aware of your surroundings and keep the safety of yourselves, your pets and your livestock top of mind. If you see any of these dogs, please report them to the Sheriff's Office right away by dialing 559-600-3111.
