Burglary Suspects Arrested & Stolen Items Recovered
October 6, 2024 – Amador County Sheriff's Office officials report that on October 1, 2024, a burglary was reported in Plymouth. Numerous power tools were stolen from the property. A deputy responded and was informed by the witness that a suspicious vehicle occupied by three adult males was seen in the area earlier that day. Later that same day the deputy was able to locate the vehicle and three males. It was determined that one individual was on Probation and another was on Post Release Community Supervision. During a search of the vehicle the deputy located some of the victim's stolen property, ammunition and burglary tools. The deputy also located a large amount of methamphetamine on one individual.
All three of the individuals were arrested.
The following day detectives executed a search warrant and completed a search of two homes. All of the victim's items were located along with numerous other stolen items to include, power tools, and a motorcycle. Additionally, detectives located and collected another motorcycle that was used in a different burglary earlier this year.
