February is spay and neuter month. Even though you will not be reading this article until late in February, it is a good reminder of the importance of having our dogs and cats “fixed”. Of course, for us at NPC every month is spay and neuter month, and we continue to offer as many vouchers as are requested by citizens who live in our service area, which includes these 5 communities: Coulterville, Groveland, Big Oak Flat, Lake Don Pedro, and Greeley Hill.
Although we have publicized the spay/neuter phone number before, here it is again: (209) 732-6194. Simply leave the contact information called for on the recording, and our voucher coordinator will be in touch with you.
You may be aware that we have attempted to find someone who might be interested in being NPC Secretary, a position which also involves being on our Board of Directors. We are happy to report that Kristen Elgen, of Lake Don Pedro, has tentatively agreed to be secretary. She and her husband have a longstanding association with NPC, and we are glad to see them again! We plan to confirm Kristen’s appointment at our March meeting.
Don’t forget our contribution jars located at various businesses in the area. Your spare change makes a difference!
