Recognizing the Signs of Domestic Violence
October 15, 2024 – Tulare County Sheriff’s Office officials offer public guidelines about domestic violence and what to watchout for.
To break the cycle of domestic violence, we, at the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office, would like everyone to be aware of the signs and symptoms of domestic violence. In addition to physical abuse, the following actions from a partner are also considered to be domestic violence:
- Controlling
- Isolation
- Threats
- Intimidation
- Emotional Abuse
- Mental Abuse
- Financial Abuse
- Sexual Abuse
