Deputies Warn Community of Robberies, Search for Suspects

October 17, 2024 – Fresno County Sheriff's Office officials report that property crimes detectives are investigating two separate robberies in the Easton area.  It is unknown if the two crimes are related.

On October 8th, shortly before 9:00 p.m., two men arrived at Adams Market (7013 S Cedar Ave.) on a motorcycle.  They both entered the store wearing all black clothing.  One wore a motorcycle helmet and the other wore a Ushanka style winter hat.  The man in the fur hat pointed a handgun with an extended magazine at the clerk and demanded money.  After taking the cash and two bottles of liquor, both suspects left on the motorcycle.

On October 15th, around midnight, employees were locking up the front doors of the Valero gas station located at 6012 S. Elm Avenue when two men approached them.  The suspects were dressed in all black clothing with masks covering their faces.  One of those face coverings resembled a paintball mask.  They demanded the workers open the store, which they were unable to do.  The suspects, one armed with a gun, then told them to hand over their wallets and a cell phone.  Fearing for their safety, they gave the suspects their property.  Both suspects then ran away.

Anyone with information about the suspects in these cases is asked to please contact the Sheriff’s Office at (559) 600-3111 or Crime Stoppers at (559) 498-7867, https://valleycrimestoppers.org. You will remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward. Reference case #24-11558 for the Adams Market and case #24-11803 for the Valero gas station.
