TRAFFIC ADVISORY
One-Way Traffic Control for October 27 - November 2, 2024
October 25, 2024 – MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control this week on State Route 49 (SR-49) and SR-140 for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled as follows:
STATE ROUTE 49
- One-way traffic control from Delong Creek to Tiptop-Usona Road for tree work on Tuesday, October 29, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control from Harris Road to Stumpfield Mountain Road for drainage work beginning Monday, October 28, through Friday, November 1, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
STATE ROUTE 140
- Long-term one-way traffic control on eastbound SR-140 from 6th Street to SR-49 North for crosswalk construction beginning Thursday, October 31, at 7:00 p.m. continuing through Monday, November 4, 2024, at 6:00 a.m.
- One-way traffic control from beginning of the passing lane in Catheys Valley to State Route 49 North for pavement work beginning Sunday, October 27, through Monday, October 28, from 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and Tuesday, October 29, through Friday, November 1, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- One-way traffic control at Fourth Street for sign/banner work on Monday, October 28, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials and construction related issues.
