March 1, 2016 - The Merced Police Department reports on Thursday Evening, February 25, 2016, the Merced Police Department’s Gang Violence Suppression Unit (GVSU) contacted Eduardo Nepomuceno-Vega, 24, in the 500 block of W 11th Street in Merced and discovered that he was on parole.

GVSU officers conducted a parole search of his residence and located a 45 caliber handgun, ammunition, targets and a gun cleaning kit inside his bedroom.
Eduardo Nepomuceno-Vega was arrested and booked at the jail for felon in possession of a firearm, felon in possession ammunition, parole violation and gang enhancements.
