Go Grizzlies!

March 1, 2016 - Have you heard? Our Mariposa County High School Boys’ Varsity Basketball team is going to the State Section Championship Game for the first time ever! We have been close several times over the years go mariposa grizzliesand made it to the section playoffs, but we have never made it all the way to the championship game for the section title! This is HUGE!!

There is overwhelming interest from parents, students, staff, and community members to attend the game in Sacramento. This should come as no surprise, as Mariposa has a long-standing tradition of supporting its own in both good times and bad. Canceling school will allow as many community members as possible to attend the game. Note that, in order to make up this missed school day, school will be in session on April 25, which was previously scheduled as a make-up “snow day.”
