November 3, 2024 – Mariposa County Library officials announce that the library will once again be conducting its Food for Fines event throughout the month of November. With this program, the Mariposa Branch will waive overdue fees for patrons who bring in a donation of canned or dry food to the main branch.

All donated food items will be given to Manna House, which provides emergency food items to support those in need.

This program is not applicable to lost items and lost processing fees.
