“This special themed event will feature a German style dinner with German beers and wines available at the bar,” said Joelle Leder, Executive Director of the Oakhurst Area Chamber of Commerce.
The dinner costs only $30 per person for an authentic four course German style dinner. The menu includes DeutschesBrot – German Bread, Gurkensalat – Cucumber Salad, Graupeneintopf – Barley Stew, Sauerkraut – Sauerkraut, Rotkohl – German Style Cooked Red Cabbage, KartoffelKasserole – Potato Casserole, Bratwurst & Knockwurst – German Style Sausages, and Apfelstrudel – Apple Strudel. Food is prepared by Yosemite Gateway Restaurant in Oakhurst, California.An amazing raffle including a large flat screen television sponsored by Yosemite Bank and Sierra Asset Management and a German Band will perform at the event for a fun-filled evening.
“German Fest committee chairman Dan Rule, of Sierra Tel, along with the German Fest Committee has been working very hard to make this a unique, one of a kind event for our community and the Chamber,” said Joelle Leder, Executive Director of the Oakhurst Area Chamber of Commerce.
