November 5, 2024 – Inyo County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on November 1, 2024, Inyo County Sheriff K9-Units conducted two separate traffic enforcement stops in Inyo County. One traffic stop occurred in South County, while the other occurred in North County. During each of the stops, the K9s conducted exterior sniffs of the vehicles and alerted to the odor of narcotics. A search of the vehicles resulted in Deputies finding suspected methamphetamine.

The K9 alerts resulted in the seizure of a total of 321.5 grams of suspected methamphetamine and the arrest of two separate suspects who were booked into the Inyo County Jail on felony charges.
