November 9, 2024 – Fresno Police Department officials report that on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, the Multi Agency Gang Enforcement Consortium MAGEC, California Department of Corrections CRT Teams 10 and 11, Fresno Police Street Violence Bureau, and Fresno Police District Suppression Teams conducted a large-scale search warrant and arrest operation. This operation was in connection with a violent shooting that occurred on October 24, 2024, in Southwest Fresno. The shooting involved three victims, one of whom was a 7-month-old child, as they were traveling in their vehicle.

The operation resulted in the arrests of two suspects, Miguel Perez and Demarea Gossett. Both are gang members and are being charged with attempted homicide and other gang-related offenses.
