November 10, 2024 - SONORA, Calif — Peak Fire Closure Area has been lifted in the Stanislaus National Forest.
The closure area was issued in Forest Order STF-16-2024-11 on Oct. 11 in an effort to protect the public from any hazards caused by the Peak Fire. The fire has been in a controlled status since Oct. 30th.
