Memorial Announcement to the Public 

November 11, 2024 – Parlier Police Department officials announce the passing of Officer Juan Rodriguez.

It is with heartfelt profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Parlier Police Officer, Juan Rodriguez. PPD Officer Juan RodriguezOfficer Rodriguez passed on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at his home from unknown health related issues. This sudden loss has left a deep void in our department and the community we serve. Officer Rodriguez dedicated his life to protecting and serving the residents of Parlier. With his unwavering commitment to duty, he exemplified the values of integrity, bravery and compassion that define our police force.

Officer Rodriguez, known for his kind nature and big heart, was not just a colleague, he was a friend, a valued member of our team, a dedicated public servant, a source of inspiration to many in our department and the community. Throughout his career Officer Rodriguez made a significant impact in the lives of many through his genuine work with our youth at the high school as the Parlier High School Resource Officer.

He will be remembered not only for his dedication to law enforcement, but also for his kindness and willingness to help others. In honor of Officer Rodriguez, we invite the community to join us for a memorial service in the near future to be announced at a later time. This will be an opportunity for us to come together as a community to celebrate his life share his memories and support one another in this time of grief. As we mourn this tremendous loss, we ask that you keep Officer Rodriguez’s family and friends and colleagues in your thoughts and prayers. Let us honor his memory by continuing to support each other and the values he stood for. Thank you for your understanding and support during this difficult time.
