November 23, 2024 – Fresno County Sheriff’s Office officials report that at around 1:20 a.m. on Friday, deputies responded to a call of an injured person.  Deputies arrived on Fowler Avenue between Clinton and Olive Avenues and found an injured woman.  Deputies provided medical aid to her, but she ultimately died on scene.

It is unclear what led to the woman’s death.  Members of our Coroner’s Unit are conducting an examination on her to try and learn more.

The case is being investigated as a homicide.  Detectives are canvassing the area for evidence and trying to find people to speak with so they can determine exactly what happened.  This is an ongoing investigation and no further details are available.

The victim has not been identified yet.
