December 3, 2024 – Tulare County Sheriff’s Office officials report that they were notified on Monday morning at approximately 10:40 A.M., 34-year-old Cesar Hernandez, an inmate serving time for murder, escaped from California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) custody at the prison courthouse located near 10^th Avenue and Kensington Street in Delano.

Hernandez was last seen wearing an orange CDCR jumpsuit and white thermal clothing.

The public is urged to stay alert and immediately report any suspicious activity or sightings. Hernandez is considered dangerous, and if spotted, do not approach him. Instead, contact 9-1-1.
