December 7, 2024 – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), along with Cal Valley Construction, announces Sunday night, December 8^th, the traffic signals at the intersection of State Route (SR) 41 with Avenue 15 and with SR 145, in Madera County, will be flashing red during overnight hours (8:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M.).

The following will occur:

• Sunday night December 8^th, starting at 8:00 P.M. until 6:00 A.M. Monday morning, the traffic signals at Avenue 15 and SR-145, on SR-41, will be flashing red.
• One-way traffic control will be in place as well.
• Drivers may experience short delays during this time.
• The traffic signals will not be flashing red during the daylight hours.

This is necessary, as the construction project on State Route 41, from Avenue 15 to SR-145, continues to wrap-up.

The time frame of the flashing light may be extended, if necessary, due to delays caused by weather or uncontrollable events that may occur.

Caltrans reminds you to drive with extra care and allow additional time while travelling near construction zones. Please be alert for construction personnel and remember to “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
