December 9, 2024 – Merced County Sheriff's Office officials announce Deputy Campos and K9 Jax recent graduation from narcotics detection training.

Congratulations are in order for Deputy Campos and his new K9, Jax! K9 Jax is a Belgian Malinois and is almost a year and a half old. We're excited to welcome Jax to the Merced County Sheriff's Office K9 Unit. Deputy Campos and K9 Jax recently graduated from school and are ready to hit the road. Jax is trained in narcotics detection and will join Deputy Campos out on patrol.
