BunnyGram 2016
By East R. Bunny
Chomp, chomp, and chomp…Hi, it’s the Coulterville Easter Bunny here, writing with my mouth chock full of yummy early spring carrots. Yes, it’s that time of year again! Soon, Easter is in March!... Sunday, March 27th to be precise. I will be hopping down the ol’ John Muir Bunny Trail to the Coulterville Park (Hwy. 49 & Broadway, next to the historic Hotel Jeffrey) that day arriving at 11 a.m. to celebrate “Easter in the Park” with all of my friends.
My pals in the Coulterville Community Club (CCC), who organize this free annual Easter Egg Hunt, tell me there will be lots of candy filled eggs and other goodies, so make sure to bring a big basket or bag to keep all your sweet Easter treats safe. And, don’t be late because the eggs disappear fast!
Easter Egg hunters must be 1 to 12 years old. A special “little person area” will be available for those children age 1 year to 3 years old (only 1 adult can accompany, sorry, no strollers as we don’t want any little fingers run over and the adults are not supposed to “hunt”).
For more information or to help with the event, call Shirley at: 209-852-2100 or email: goldenstatemod@yahoo.com.
Well, I best get back to coloring my eggs and making chocolate bunnies, as I will be working extra hard from now ‘till Easter. I can hardly wait to say “Happy Easter” to all my friends!
