Seven Pounds of Cocaine Found During Granite Bay Traffic Stop 

December 20, 2024 – Placer County Sheriff’s Office officials report that several weeks ago, deputies in Granite Bay conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle code violation. K9 Axel was deployed on a narcotics search and alerted deputies to the odor of narcotics coming from the vehicle.

A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded vacuum-sealed packages of Cocaine, weighing a total of seven pounds. The suspect was arrested and charged for possession and transportation of narcotics for sales.

This is just another example of how proactive policing can keep dangerous drugs off our streets.
