On March 17, 2016 Teena Starchman and her third and fourth grade class received 15 ukuleles. The ukuleles were funded through a Mariposa Community Foundation grant written by fellow staff member Barbara Milazzo. Ms. Starchman had funds remaining after she ordered the 15 ukuleles, so she purchased some rhythm instruments to go with them. The class is now working on thank you notes to the Mariposa Community Foundation to show their appreciation.
