Update Per Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office: The suspect in the vehicle theft incidents has been identified. Thank you to our community for sharing the information!
December 24, 2024 – Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office officials report that they are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a series of vehicle thefts and attempted thefts that occurred on December 22, 2024. The incidents took place between midnight and 2:00 A.M. in the areas of Alder Lane, Lower Hillview Drive, and Lexi Court. Video surveillance footage of the incidents showed a man checking vehicle door handles and stealing from unlocked cars.
